Played for coach Kevin Rush at Forney … Played a hybrid safety-linebacker position on defense and saw time at wide receiver during his senior season … Had a huge year numbers-wise as a junior, totaling 101 tackles, nine tackles for loss, seven sacks, three fumble recoveries, four pass break ups, a blocked field goal and a fumble return for a touchdown … Received second team all-district 12-5A honors for the season despite it only being his second year to play football … Played both ways as a senior, totaling 46 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, two fumble recoveries and a safety on defense while making 27 catches for 519 yards and six touchdowns on offense … Also competed for the track and field team.
