Played for coach Danny DeArman at Bowie … Finished with 1,261 all-purpose yards as a senior, including 729 receiving yards, 335 kick return yards and 152 punt return yards, all of which were the most on his team … Scored eight receiving touchdowns and one punt return touchdown as a senior, averaging 25.3 yards per punt return and 30.5 yards per kickoff return … Caught a team-high 45 passes and added three carries for 45 yards to help lead a team that finished 10-3 … Also competed for a state champion track and field team … Chose Oklahoma State over offers from Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, Louisiana-Monroe, Tulsa, Colorado State and Utah State.
